Center for Innovation in Medical Engineering congratulates the inventors of MyEMG ‘Wireless EMG Device for Low Back Pain Rehabilitation’ (PI 2020003417) led by Prof Ir Dr Fatimah Ibrahim for the licensing agreement of the IP with Nonivasi Care Sdn Bhd. Prof Ir Dr Fatimah Ibrahim has collaborated with Nonivasi Care Sdn Bhd and successfully secured a grant of RM 500,000 awarded by CIP Ignite by Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd.
UM-Nonivasi Licensing Exchange & Cradle Grant Award Ceremony was held on 9th June 2022 at the Auditorium, Level 1, KPPI, Universiti Malaya. Prof Ir Dr Shaliza Ibrahim, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) represented Universiti Malaya, and Nonivasi Care Sdn was represented by the Chief Executive Officer, Ms Amanda Soong during the UM-Nonivasi Licencing Exchange Ceremony.
In the ceremony, Ms Juliana Jan, Senior Vice President, Grant, Cradle Grant Sdn Bhd presented the Cradle Grant Award to Nonivasi Care Sdn Bhd.
The event was also gracing by the presence of representative from MyIPO.
