1. Medical Devices & Clinical Healthcare

The symposium aims to highlight the challenges faced by public/private clinicians and researchers in innovating medical devices for clinical healthcare use. Panels will be discussing on medical device regulatory start-ups, and strategies that are evolving to respond to these challenges.

2. Biomechanics, Ergonomics & Rehabilitation

The symposium will explore the broad range of issues in biomechanics, ergonomics and rehabilitation including advancements driving technology in current research and practices. Besides biomechanics fundamental and applied topics, the scope includes application of medical robotics, computer-based interactive rehabilitation programs and assistive devices used in neurorehabilitation, brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation and more.

3. Telemedicine & Point of Care Healthcare Solutions

The symposium will focus on healthcare innovations in telemedicine, point-of-care technologies and fields of Big Data and Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare. It will also highlight their clinical translation in the pursuit of quality healthcare, emerging opportunities and the associated challenges. These include development, clinical translational, commercialization, implementation and user-compliance of innovative telemedicine and point-of-care technologies in clinical, non-traditional and under-resourced settings.

4. Biosensing & Life Sciences

This symposium will bring together discoveries & ideas from across disciplines with multidisciplinary approaches mainly from the medicine, biology and engineering aspects.
